I’d never thought that I’d be writing about a real estate agent, ever… I had my issues with them in the past and as such I am very careful. And then I got to know Lukasz Michalski. He works for Grand Brokers and is a busy bee with a decent amount of experience in both small as big projects. Since 2017 Lukasz Michalski has been working in partnership within Grand Brokers, a small group of independent real estate professionals with various business background and competences. The group has one common idea: to build strong relationships based on an absolute commitment. They work as individual specialists, but for the special tasks they work as a team.
What makes them different is their flexibility and client-orientation in deal making. The goal is to win every deal for all parties with the support of technology: full range 360° technology is used in presenting their offers. If needed drones are used and of course there is the social media at their disposal. Continuously they are thinking of ways to improve.
Invest in Pomerania
His journey with real estate started about 10 years ago, during his work at what’s today’s called ‘Invest in Pomerania‘. During that time, he was providing assistance to investors who were considering to invest in the Pomerania region, one of Poland’s ‘provinces’. There he learned about the regional real estate market, focusing on investment sites and office spaces. With his colleague he decided to prepare the first report dedicated to office market in Tri-City (Tricity/Trójmiasto). After that report, they launched another one dedicated to the industrial market in the same region. By writing these reports at that time, they were trendsetters in their sector.
DTZ / Cushman & Wakefield
In 2012 he started working in the DTZ (Later: Cushman & Wakefield) company where he learned the ropes. He was involved in the commercialization of office buildings and dealt with tenant representation in Tricity. Since then, he witnessed new office centres being built like the Olivia Business Centre and the Alchemia centre.
I remember situations when new investors were choosing other cities because they weren’t able to find available office space in Tri-City.
Furthermore, he worked with many interesting international companies and took part in many crucial negotiations. During almost 10 years, he worked with foreign investors, small and huge companies, people from around the world. Finally he decided to run his own real estate business and become a partnership at Grand Broker’s.
Commercial and investment properties
Grand Brokers are focusing on advising and brokering in two areas: in commercial and investment properties.
By commercial properties is meant: advising in office space, properties for different services, investment sites – so mainly projects for companies or individuals who want to run a business in this region of Poland.
By investment properties is meant: properties which main role is bringing revenue for their owners. They support their clients in finding and buying profitable properties – starting with apartments for rent, through condo- & aparthotels, ending with retail investments.
More and more clients come from different countries who are ready to invest. Besides investing in real estate, they are also helped when they want to get in touch with local authorities or companies if they need to.
